Energetic, confident, down-to-earth and with over 20 years of teaching and mentoring in a variety of settings. I enjoy meeting new people; supporting and nurturing. I am also a great listener. As a self-employed full-time homeopath I have built my business from scratch, building on my people skills and passion for creative media and photography.
- Good Listener
2007 – present
As learning and people are important to me, and as I had an interest in homeopathy since being a teacher it seemed a natural progression to turn my passion into a business. I started with part-time hours alongside teaching, which grew from 5 hours a month to 80 hours a month; still allowing me the flexibility to spend time with my family and pursue my hobbies.
Other than my continued professionalism no two days are the same. Face to face appointments are carried out at my clinics in Bethnal Green and Hackney as well as via Skype to suit those with busy schedules and for those who live further afield.
Until recently I ran a voluntary clinic at Hackney Carer’s Centre where I worked with men and women caring for their loved ones with physical needs and/or mental illness.
Since I started my practice in 2007, I’ve been responsible for developing my business through advertising, word-of-mouth, and developing a cohesive on-line presence, including the use of social media. I present short courses of interest to potential and existing clients and keep up to date with relevant research.
2013 – present
DJing came from my love of solo and partnered dancing to blues music. Over the last year I have DJed at more than 40 events all over the UK and in Europe. I have worked as a DJ co-ordinator at several festivals, where my responsibilities included having a musical vision and overview of the event, hiring and scheduling DJs and ensuring the smooth running of the event as a whole.
